Infrastructure project at the University of Montreal by Fer Forgé Montréal

Description

The University of Montreal, a leading higher education institution, has embarked on an ambitious project aimed at improving the accessibility and connectivity of its campus.

The project included the construction of a strategic tunnel directly connecting the metro to the Roger-Gaudry pavilion, an initiative intended to facilitate travel for students, staff and visitors, whatever the weather conditions.

Manufacturing and installation of a temporary staircase
Installation of a temporary staircase to maintain access for the duration of the work, thus guaranteeing smooth and safe circulation for all campus users.

Manufacturing and installation of emergency exit stairs
Design and installation of permanent staircases dedicated to emergency exits, reinforcing safety in the tunnel and surrounding areas.

Design, manufacturing and installation of structural architectural panels for the tunnel wall
Creation of tailor-made architectural panels for the tunnel, combining aesthetics and functionality, and integrating perfectly into the architectural environment of the campus.
